Completed in 1706, the grand home features and spacious bright rooms. Surrounding the mansion is a stunning two-acre formal garden enclosed by massive stone walls, showcasing a unique blend of early 20th-century horticulture and historic estate gardening. The expansive property also includes trails and nine district outbuildings — such as a bank barn, a springhouse, a greenhouse and a Gothic Revival gardener’s cottage. Today, preserved the estate is preserved by The Highlands Historic Society.
